A nebulizer is a type of home medical device which is used to administer medication to a patient in the form of mist that is inhaled into the lungs. It is commonly used for the treatment of asthma, cystic fibrosis, COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other types of respiratory diseases. An air purifier is a type of device which removes various types of air contaminants that often act as allergens which can trigger allergies in sensitive individuals.
